Tarheel Realty II was formed in 2004 and is owned by Larry Hedrick and his daughter Suzanne. Tarheel Auction & Realty was the foundation of the family business started in 1967 by Larry Hedrick and his father-in-law Dwight Goforth. Their primary focus was conducting auctions. After the loss of Dwight in 2004, there was a need to separate the auction and real estate companies therefore creating Tarheel Realty II. As natives of the area, the Tarheel companies have been helping families for over 40 years and are respected by the community for their professionalism and honest reputation. In 2007, Larry handed over the Broker in Charge role to his daughter, Suzanne.
